12th Annual Car Show in Naples on 5th Ave!
Join the Naples community for the 12th Annual, Cars on 5th show this upcoming Saturday, February 13th, 2016. The Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America will be hosting this event, and the turnout is projected to be better than any year prior.
The Ferrari Club of America is said to be the largest Ferrari club in the world, having over 5,000 members. Members benefit from the club’s activities, events and enthusiast camaraderie. If you’d like to learn more about The Ferrari Club of America, visit www.ferrariclubofamerica.org .
2015’s car show will be hard to beat, as the show broke all attendance records. With over 500 private entries and dealer cars, the street displays were exceptional.
It’s not often that such an eclectic collection of exotics and collector cars are found in the same location, so the residents of SWFL truly enjoy the show.
There were approximately 50,000 attendees at last year’s show, and this year the numbers are projected to be even higher. The weather is also supposed to finally warm up, so it will be a great weekend for a car show!
The ‘Cars on 5th’ show is not only about experiencing the incredible cars, but about giving back to the community and giving back to those in need. Donations from attendees, to the featured charities have raised over $450,000 over the past 11 years. The featured charity for 2016 is St. Matthews House, which gathers contributions of food and clothing to care for the homeless and hungry in our community.
This years sponsors include Ferrari of Tampa Bay, Naples Bently-Porsche, Naples Motorsports, Blackhorse Motors, Fidelity Investments, Seminole Casino, Gulf Coast Motorworks and more.
These dealers will bring a selection of exotic and classic cars, in addition to the hundreds of enthusiast-owned entries which will fill 5th Ave on Saturday.
According to The Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America, there will be over 100 Ferraris on display, along with a mix of V-8s and V-12s from Maranello, which will surely make the crowd roar in excitement! They are also expecting to see several new 488GTBs on display.
There will also be a section of the show at Mercato, and this is also projected to be larger than ever, with many participating businesses. Artists, jewelers, automotive service providers, and accessory suppliers will be present, to serve potential clients.
The show will conclude at 4 p.m. sharp, and all car owners will start their cars for a resounding Drive-Off by over 400 cars.
